DESCRIPTION: Lighter weight without sacrificing comfort and protection The USMC Lightweight Exposure Suit features a lightweight, waterproof, breathable and extremely packable hardshell jacket and trouser made with GORE-TEX fabric. It is designed for use in wet, high wind, and extreme cold conditions. Pieces can be worn individually or in combination with other levels of the USMC cold weather clothing system. The GORE-TEX fabric combines a nylon outer material, a durably waterproof and windproof GORE-TEX membrane, and a nylon liner. The wearer is protected from not only cold and wet weather, but also from wind and sand. Increased breathability provides comfort across a broad temperature range keeping the wearer drier longer even in higher levels of activity. Only routine machine washing and drying is required to maintain performance and extend the life of the garment. The GORE-TEX brand name is your assurance you're getting the right gear.
